Plot
Forced into exile by geopolitics, Aleksei Molchanov – the world’s greatest living freediver and son of freediving pioneer Natalia Molchanova – is on a journey to reclaim his sporting glory and honor his iconic mother’s rugged legacy in 2023 by attempting the most dominant season in the history of the deadly sport. His near-suicidal quest to achieve five world records in less than four months takes him to the farthest reaches of the world and the limits of human performance. In the process, he is forced to reevaluate all the skills and beliefs he has built his entire life around.
